Hello there
If I had to choose just one treasure to hold onto in this life, it would be memory.
The value I’ve placed on memories: collecting them, creating them, clinging to them when I’ve needed them most- has always been the red thread running through my story.
That thread winds back to my childhood, to the living room performances and Sunday breakfasts, to my grandpa: Dave MacMillan, the first marketer I ever met.
He was a singer, MC, bandleader, and insurance man with the kind of charisma that could sell you a policy and make you feel like family all in one conversation. (You can still find him crooning on YouTube under “Dave MacMillan Sings Frank"). When I step on stage today as a speaker, presenter, or marketer, it’s his memory that fuels me.
And then there are the women who raised me bold: my Grandma and Aunt Cecile.
Their laughter was loud and unfiltered. Their presence was grounded and joyful.
They moved through life unbothered by judgment and fully themselves.
They raised me to be uncaged.
Their legacy lives inside The Uncaged Pod.
Their memory is my moment.
